Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
I was sick during Holy Week and now thank God that through the time of sickness I came out more perfected, established, strengthened, and settled (1 Pet 5:10).
More specifically, God gave me wisdom regarding the voices that I heard when I was in need of help. While I was sick, I received advice from all angles: Family, friends, co-workers, doctors, my thoughts, Satan's thoughts, and the Holy Spirit. I'm still perfecting my ear for hearing specifically what God is saying to me.
However, I gained wisdom on how to distinguish God's instruction from man's advice. I believe that when I prayed and desired healing that good and Godly instructions came from multiple sources but they also came with man's advice. I believe part of my healing was the God given wisdom to distinguish between instructions that WILL address the diagnosis and advice that usually comes from man's or even my own understanding that does not have that guarantee. (2 Tim 2:15)
Also, knowing that I am a spirit, soul, and body I understand that sometimes there are practical things we can decide in our will to do to improve and maintain the health of our body. After I prayed, I looked for and discovered the answers not only in the scriptures, but in the medical diagnosis, as well as the right foods to strengthen my immune system.
Long story short, the blood tests showed that I had evidence of both strep throat & mono. Mono usually takes weeks or months before symptoms go away. For me, the more serious symptoms were gone within one week. Thank God for Wisdom

Picnic
Many don't realize my past and what I had to go through that has changed my fellowship with the brothers and sisters in Christ. Being a part of this ministry has changed that... My son and I looked forward to this picnic since the beginning. I had so much fun! The atmosphere was full of calmness, love, fun and great fellowship! I was able to breathe a breath of fresh air for the first time in a long time as I walked and talked to everyone and my son played with the other kids and the food...well, does two full plates say anything? LOL, the food was great! The picnic showed true "Life In Christ"... I slept like a baby and ready for Sunday Service the following morning!

My Spiritual father and mother in the Gospel
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!
Every since the Lord lead me to Pastor Comer I've been Blessd!!! This great man of God speaks from Heaven when he talks. Every time I am going through a situation and need advice, Pastor is right on point with a Scripture.
He doesn't tell me what he thinks, Pastor shoots straight from the scripture and I know he backs it up later with a powerful prayer.
I am also Blessed to have a spiritual mother that is grounded in the Word also. She is no other than the First Lady, Pastor's wife.First Lady is an anointed woman of God that walks along side of her husband. This is the way God ordained a marriage to be.
I am thankful for all the members @ LICMI. They all treat me like family, the way we as brothers and sisters ought to treat each other.
Shalom...Shalom
